Visualization of telomeric amplification products.

PCR reactions were performed using primers TelA and TelB under standard conditions as previously reported34. Arabidopsis wild type bulk genomic DNA samples and control samples without DNA were subjected to different number of consecutive PCR cycles. The final concentration of DNA in the PCR reactions was 2 pg/μL. The reaction products were resolved on a 1.5% agarose gel and stained with ethidium bromide. The left panel displays a 123 bp ladder and the amplification products of PCR reactions that included DNA. The right panel displays the amplification products of PCR reactions that did not include DNA. The number of PCR cycles performed is indicated above the panels and the asterisk marks putative primer dimers.
