Changes in the levels of serum cytokines in the murine hepatic allografts.

To address the changes in the cytokine levels after liver transplantation, the levels of IL-2, IL-4, IL-6, IL-10, IL-12, MCP-1, TGF-β, IFN-γ and TNF-α in the serum on days 5, 8, 14, 30 and 100 postallograft were measured using a BD™ Cytometric Bead Array. All experiments, data were analyzed of three mice per each time point and expressed as the mean ± standard error of the mean (SEM), except for day5 and 8, which was analyzed by five mice. *p < 0.05 compared with day 0.
