From: Molecular evolution and functional divergence of tubulin superfamily in the fungal tree of life

Phylogeny of fungal α-tubulins.
The phylogenetic tree was constructed with the Maximum-likelihood (ML) approach. It had similar topology with the tree generated with the Bayesian inference (BI) method. Numbers on major branches indicate SH-like approximate likelihood ratio test (SH-aLRT) probabilities/Bayesian posterior probabilities. Wathet and blue branches indicate α1- and α2-tubulins of ascomycetes, respectively. Green and red branches indicate α1- and α3-tubulins of agaricomycetes. The tubulin genes highlighted in yellow have been functionally characterized in previous studies11,13,14. For abbreviations, see Additional file Table S1 and supplementary Fig. S1 legend.
