Only positively selected sites that are at or adjacent to sites involved in GTP binding and α/β connection are shown. Sites related to the tubulin function and/or structure were obtained according to the conserved domains of α-tubulin (cd02186) and β-tubulin (cd02187) in CDD of NCBI. The Arabic numbers refers to the amino acid positions in the sequence alignments of α-tubulins and β-tubulins presented in supplementary Fig. S4 and S5, respectively.
