MDF1 shortens the lag phase of S. cerevisiae.
(A) Growth curves show that the MDF1 strain driven by its own promoter exhibits a shortened lag phase in YPD medium compared with the wild-type strain. OD values were measured every 30ā min for the first two hours. The mean and standard errors were represented in the growth curves. (B) There was a significant increase in the growth rate at 80ā min in the MDF1 strain compared with that in the wild-type strain (* indicates Two-tails T-test P-value<0.01).
