Table 2 Nucleotide substitution rates and selection pressures for the HAdV-7d strain DG01_2011 major capsid protein genes. The mean numbers of non-synonymous (Ka) and synonymous (Ks) substitutions per site from between sequences were noted and Ka/Ks ratios were calculated. This selection pressure analysis was conducted using the Nei-Gojobori model and included nucleotide sequences from 33 hexon, 57 fiber and 19 penton base genes of HAdV-7 available from GenBank. All positions containing gaps were eliminated automatically. Evolutionary analyses were performed with MEGA 5.1.0 (http://www.megasoftware.net)
