Lateral order in ionic layers between equally charged surfaces.
Structure factors Sm(k) for the first three IL layers calculated for three indicated values of surface charge density, qs: −16 μC/cm2, −32 μC/cm2 and −128 μC/cm2. Increase of the surface charge induces inncommensurate-to-commensurate transition in the first layer.
