Histogram showing the relative ability of S. Typhi Hd, Hj, Hz66 and ΔfliC to induce TLR5 activity after bacterial inoculation on to transfected HEK293 cells compared to an S. Typhimurium positive control. Results are measured as NFκB-luciferase activity relative to Renilla-luciferase activity per 105 cfu mL−1 of infecting bacteria.
