The 0–1 normalized MDLs of the results of the new NLC method (including NLC-EM and NLC-NMF) and five existing algorithms (in Table 1).
For each network, we normalize the optimal MDL-value to 1 and its baseline MDL-value to 0; we then perform a linear normalization on its MDL-values for each of the compared methods.
