Sequential transmission of information in a clocked three-stage cascaded SWD that acts as a chain of inverters shown in Fig. 1(a). Figure (a) (b) and (c) show the transmission of a train of bit “1”, bit “0” and alternate bits “1” and “0”, respectively.
The yellow arrows indicate the case when the spin waves propagate and switch the next stage ME cell while the blue arrows indicate the case when the propagating spin waves do not affect the dynamics of the other ME cells.
