Tumor grade included G1, G2 and G3; and tumor stage was divided into superficial (pTa-pT1) and invasive (pT2-pT4) stage. Statistically significant differences were determined using the Mann-Whitney U test. *P < 0.05 meant the plasma miRNAs were compared to the healthy controls’. The area under receiver operating characteristics (ROC) curve (AUC) value was calculated for distinguishing BC patients from normal control subjects.
