Overview of library preparation and sequencing.

CAGEscan libraries were generated from total RNA extracted from individual brains of 8 nurses and 8 foragers. Barcoded cDNAs were pooled into two lanes and sequenced on an Illumina HiSeq2000. The resulting reads can be viewed in the table on the right.
