Localisation of PDCD5 in response to DNA damage.
(a) HeLa cells were γ-irradiated and immunostaining was performed with antibodies recognising PDCD5. DAPI was used to stain the nucleus. One of two experiments yielding similar results shown. (b) 293T cells were separated into cytoplasmic and nuclear fractions after treatment with γ-irradiation or etoposide for the indicated times. PDCD5 levels were determined by immunoblotting, where tubulin and PARP1 or Lamin served as loading and quality control of the subcellular fractions generated. Western blots shown are representatives of two independent experiments yielding comparable results.
