Mouse Tmem106a gene information and expression profile.

(a) Schematic of the gene and mRNA structure of Tmem106a. The Tmem106a gene is located on chromosome 11, has nine exons and encodes a protein with 261 amino acid residues. (b) mRNA and protein levels of Tmem106a from various tissues in C57BL/6 mice were detected by semi-quantitative RT-PCR and Western blotting. (c) Protein expression of Tmem106a in mammalian cell lines and mouse peritoneal macrophages was detected by western blot. β-actin was used as the internal control. Complete electrophoretic gels and blots are shown in Supplementary Figure S4.
