  1. Quantification of F4/80 positive cells as a marker for monocytes/macrophages/dendritic cells and inflammation and collagen positive stained area (%), as a marker of renal fibrosis, showed comparable values in all groups, apart from increased inflammation and fibrosis in ApoE−/− mice fed with MCD diet.
