Optical micrographs of PHB viewed between cross-polars with and without compound 2; (top row) 0 wt% of compound 2 and (bottom row) with 0.5 wt% of compound 2.
The samples were first melted at 190 °C for 3 min and then cooled from melt to room temperature at approximately 60 °C/min. The images were recorded at different temperatures, shown on the micrographs, during cooling.
