From: 1.0 T open-configuration magnetic resonance-guided microwave ablation of pig livers in real time
Materials and methods for the experiment.
The microwave ablation generator and electric transformer can work in the magnetic resonance (MR) operation room. (A) The internally cooled antenna is specially designed for MR-guided microwave ablation (B). The diameter of the antenna is 2 mm and the length is 17.5 cm. The oil line (black arrows) designed by us was crossed on the body surface and used as an imaging marker (C). At right, the respiratory-triggered device was bound to the abdominal surface. This experiment was performed using 1.0 T whole-body open configuration MR scanner (D) using a head and neck coil (black arrow).
