pFAP-transfected tumor cells expressed active FAP in vitro.

Tumor cells were transfected with the plasmids DNA using the cationic lipid vector DOTAP for 24 hours and were irradiated. (A) FAP expression in pFAP-transfected (line 1), pVector-transfected (line 2) and non-transfected (line 3) tumor cells was detected by western blot. β-actin was used as internal control. One cropped representative blot of three is presented and full-length blots are included in the supplementary figure. (B) DPP activity in pFAP-transfected (line 1), pVector-transfected (line 2) and non-transfected (line 3) tumor cells (*P < 0.05). Columns, mean (n = 3); bars, SD. Three replicates were done for each treatment.
