(B) Regulation of the activities of Vago4 and Vago5 promoters by improving levels of IRF expression. (C,D) The role of IRF in WSSV and poly (I:C)-stimulated induction of Vago4. (E) Interaction of IRF with the Vago4 promoter. EMSA was performed with purified recombinant IRF protein together with the wild-type and the ISRE-mutated sequences of the promoter region of Vago4. Super-shift assays were performed by adding anti-IRF or anti-6His tag antibodies into the EMSA system.
