From: The strength of electron electron correlation in Cs3C60

Evolution with pressure of the degree of correlation.
The ratio of the experimental and the “mean-field” theoretical kinetic energy Kexp/KLDA ratio (triangles) is compared with data from ref. 28 on V2O3 and Cu. Kexp/KLDA increases with increasing pressure indicating a smooth transition from a Mott insulator to a correlated metal. On the other hand, Kexp/KDMFT (squares) is nearly constant at 1. This indicates that DMFT is taking correctly into account the electron-electron correlation, capturing the pressure-driven appearance of the quasi-particle peak.
