IL-1β (a) and IL-18 (b) mRNA expression levels in lung tissues from each group of mice on day 21 were examined by real-time RT-PCR. (c,d) Western blotting was performed to detect the cleaved products of IL-1β and IL-18 in lung tissues on day 21. Histograms show densitometry analysis of cleaved IL-1β and IL-18 normalized to β-actin. (e,f) Levels of IL-6 and TNF-α mRNA expression in lung tissues were examined on day 21 by real-time RT-PCR.
