Inhibitory effects of HSM on BLM–induced P2X7R expression and ROS production.
(a) P2X7R mRNA expression levels in mouse lung tissues were measured on day 21 by real-time RT-PCR. (b) P2X7R protein expression in lung tissues was analyzed on day 21 by Western blotting. ROS production in MLE12 cells (c) and MRC-5 cells (d) was measured using a ROS detection kit and a fluorescence microplate reader. Pyocyanin (200 μM) was used as a positive control for ROS formation.
