Electroacupuncture at Neiguan (PC6) acupoints reduces the up-regulation of HMGB1 mRNA and increase in HMGB1-positive cells induced by MIRI.

Experiments were carried out as described in Fig. 1(A–D) Levels of HMGB1 mRNA in the different treatment groups are shown relative to the levels in the Sham group (n = 4).
