Schematics of experimental setup used for simultaneous measurements.
A modulated square-wave bias is applied to a polymer LED set inside an evacuated cryostat. Modulated signals from the probe light and EL for detecting triplet and singlet excitons, respectively, are simultaneously recorded with a digital oscilloscope. Optical filters, F1 and F2 were used to block scattered probe light and EL, respectively. Current induced by the bias was also simultaneously recorded.
