(a) Serum IL-6 levels were measured by ELISA, while IFNγ, TNFα and IL-10 levels were determined by luminex immunoassay. mRNA expression of IL-6, TNF-α, IFN-γ and IL-10 are shown for draining lymph nodes of the heart (hLN), liver and white adipose tissue (WAT). Expression is shown relative to the expression of three housekeeping genes (SDHA, HPRT and Rpl27). All values are expressed as mean ± SEM.
