DNA histogram of the splenocyte cell cycle.

(A)Saanen goats were treated with different doses of E. adenophorum for 3 months. Subsequently, the DNA histogram of the splenocyte cell cycle was analyzed through flow cytometry with PI staining. (B)The G0/G1%, S% and G2 + M% phases of the splenocytes were analyzed using flow cytometry. The flow cytometric histograms are representative of 3 separate experiments. Proliferating index (PI) value = [S + (G2 + M)]/[(G0/G1) + S + (G2 + M)] × 100%. The data are presented as the means ± SD of three independent experiments. *p < 0.05 and **p < 0.01, compared with the control group.
