Representative traces of the effects of L-Cys or AOAA on EFS-induced relaxation in fundus muscle strips of mouse (a). EFS (4–16 Hz, 80 V, 0.5 ms, 15-s train, 2 min intervals) produced rapid, frequency-dependent relaxations. Relaxant responses of gastric fundus to EFS were significantly enhanced following exposure to L-Cys.
