PTEN was the target of the mitochondria-related miR-141-3p.
The expression level of PTEN mRNA in p53 pathway was significantly decreased in the HepG2 cells transfected with miR-141-3p mimics (A) while it was significantly increased in the HepG2 cells transfected with miR-141-3p inhibitor (B) and in the HFD mice livers (C). The representative of western blot of PTEN was shown. The protein level of PTEN was decreased in the HepG2 cells transfected withmiR-141-3p mimics (D) while it was increased in the HepG2 cells transfected with miR-141-3p inhibitor (E).
