JNK activation was involved in TMS induced cell death.

(a) TMS activated JNK. (b) MTT assay showed that JNK inhibitor blocked the cell death induced by TMS. (c) Inhibiting JNK activation can rescue the suppression of TMS on mTOR pathway. (d–f) Blocking the activation of JNK can greatly inhibit the apoptosis induced by TMS. (g) The activation of JNK was regulated by TMS through mediating [Ca2+] level.
