Recovery time for the relaxation of optical density (OD) and average strain (∆ε) and diffraction peak broadening (∆w).

The 1/e recovery time τ is extracted by fitting to a stretched exponential function, f(t) = a + b exp(−(t/τ)^η), with a, b and η being fitting parameters.
