From: Towards a new class of heavy ion doped magnetic semiconductors for room temperature applications
Experimental XAS and XMCD spectra are shown, taken with close to circular x-rays for a ZnBixO1−x (x = 4%) thin film.
Grazing x-rays are used at 20° from the surface plane. The dichroic (XMCD) signal is taken by reverting the applied magnetic field. The XMCD difference is stronger for TFY.
