Quantitative analysis of mitochondrial biomass in single cells.
Confocal microscopy and quantitative image analysis of mitoGFP was performed on untreated (Ctr) and AICAR-treated (0.5 mM, 6 days) HeLaNRF1/c4 cells. Data were extracted from analysis of single cells (Ctr, n = 69; AICAR, n = 62) and are shown as and mean ± SEM.
