The arterial τw was significantly inversely related to the PTAs (A). By contrast, as the PTAs increased, the reflection intensity (arterial Rf) increased (B). A positive linear correlation existed between the LV τe and aortic PTAs (C), indicating that in diabetes, the PTAs increases and the prolonged LV τe slows the late pressure relaxation.
