Infection assay of OASF, RASF and Huh-7.5 cells with retroviral pseudo-particles harboring the glycoproteins of vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV).

Infection with pseudo-particles was carried out for 48 h. Firefly luciferase activity served as read out for infection. Transfection of pseudo-particle producing cells with the empty plasmid pcDNA served as a negative control and delineates the background level of this assay. The assay was conducted in two independent experiments with two technical replicates each.
