Formation of aberrant mitochondrial structures in Δmdm33 cells depends on components of inner membrane homeostasis, but not fusion and fission pathways.
Cells expressing mitochondrial matrix targeted GFP (mtGFP) were grown to logarithmic growth phase in YPD and analyzed by fluorescence microscopy. Cell outlines are indicated by a white line.
