Increased ROS levels in MRC 5 cells treated with hydrogen peroxide (H2O2).
Treatment of 30 min with increasing concentrations of H2O2 resulted in increased ROS levels. The percentage of DCF positive cells for 2, 5, 8.8 mM H2O2 final concentration is presented, as from the DCF fluorescence histograms analyzed by the Flow Jo analysis program. The % of DCF-positive cells was quantified considering a threshold fluorescence level of 102 (a.u.), set on the basis of the background fluorescence in the control cell population.
