Nanostructures suppress the invasiveness of glioblastoma through decreasing EMT phenotype.

(A) Migration and invasion assay in transwells after treatment of glioma cells that are treated with ZnO-NRs (1.46 μg/mL) in glioma cells. (B) Immunocytochemistry for EMT markers such as N-cadherin (1:200) and Zeb-1 (1:100) in glioma cells after ZnO-NRs treatment. Each figure has scale bar of 50 μm. (C) qRT PCR analysis for mRNA levels of N-cadherin and Zeb-1 in glioma cells after ZnO-NRs treatment. Experiments were performed in triplicate and repeated two times. Error bars represent the ± SD (n = 3). Student’s t-test was performed, *p < 0.05, δp < 0.01 and #p < 0.001.
