(A) Representative western blot analysis of KLK8 protein expression in the anterior wall of left ventricle (LV), posterior wall of LV and the right ventricle two weeks after intra-cardiac injection of Ad-KLK8 and Ad-control into the anterior wall of LV. B-F, Four weeks after intra-cardiac injection of Ad-KLK8 and Ad-control, experimental animals were used for measurements of cardiac hypertrophic markers (B), cross-sectional area (C,D), interstitial fibrosis (E), as well as echocardiography analysis (F).
