Serum leptin levels in normal pregnant women compared with preeclamptic women during pregnancy.
A significant increase in serum adipsin levels was observed in preeclamptic women compared with normal pregnant women, in each gestational periods studied. Open boxes are normal pregnant women and shaded boxes are pregnant women with preeclampsia; EP = early pregnancy, MP = middle pregnancy, LP = late pregnancy. The statistical significance is indicated by **p < 0.01.
