DNMTs inhibitor alleviated the enlargement of H9C2 cell size and perturbation of miR-133a, CdC42 and RhoA caused by Phe exposure.

(A) DNMTs inhibitor alleviated the induction of DNMT1, DNMT3a and DNMT3b caused by Phe exposure. (B,C) When DNMTs were inhibited, the cell size reduced compared to the cells treated with Phe only. Means of exposures not sharing a common letter are significantly different at P < 0.05 (Dunnett). (D,E) When DNMTs were inhibited, the expression of miR-133a increased, while the expression of CdC42 and RhoA reduced, compared to Phe treated group. Means of exposures not sharing a common letter are significantly different at P < 0.05 (Dunnett).
