Tonsil mononuclear cells were stimulated with LTD4 (1 nM) alone, or with LTD4 and montelukast (10 μM) at time 0 and analyzed by FACS at day 3 post stimulation, for proliferation of B and T cells. Proliferation was detected for CD4+ (helper T cells), CD19+ (B cells), and CD19+CD27+CD38+ (plasma B cells). Each dot represents human tonsil mononuclear cells of a single OSAS patient, and medians (grey bars) are reported. Statistical analysis was performed using a non-parametric Mann-Whitney U-test (*p < 0.05).
