Subjects that underwent no experimental treatment or that were negative dosing controls are shown offset to the left of 0% mortality for clarity. Legend lists numbers of subjects offered the blood meal for each point left to right in a given series (starting with control). Error bars are plus and minus exact binomial 95% confidence intervals.
