From: Creating a zero-order resonator using an optical surface transformation

Some cavities of other shapes designed by the OST.
We only plot the absolute value of electric field’s z component inside the resonator for the TE polarization. We use one line current source with amplitude 1A inside the loop to excite the mode. (a) an elliptic resonator. (b) a rectangular resonator with smooth corners. (c) a playground shaped resonator. (d) a petaloid resonator. The whole size of these resonators are all smaller than the wavelength in above simulations.
