The lung (a), liver (b) and spleen (c) sections of Balb/c mice infected with 5 × 107 of Msmeg-pVV or Msmeg-PE11 were stained with hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) stain at day 7 post-infection. The microgranuloma like structure in liver sections is marked with arrows and one of these is shown at 40X magnification. Photographs of representative sections from 2 mice were shown.
