Cytokine profile of Balb/c mice infected with Msmeg-PE11 and Msmeg-pVV at day 7 post-infection.
Balb/c mice were infected intravenously with 5 × 107 Msmeg-PE11 and Msmeg-pVV and at day 7 post-infection, the mice were sacrificed and total RNA was isolated from liver, lung and spleen. The levels of TNF-α (a), IL-1β (b), IL-10 (c) and IL-4 (d) in different tissues were measured by reverse-transcription qPCR and expression levels were normalized to corresponding GAPDH levels. The data are representative of 3 mice in each group.
