Silencing efficiency of LYR nanoparticles with different siRNA concentrations.

(A) The expression of the MRTF-B gene was efficiently silenced by 76% and 80% at 50 nM and 100 nM siRNA respectively, compared to the 91% achieved using lipofectamine reagent at 50 nM siRNA; (B) Western blotting also showed a marked reduction in the MRTF-B protein levels after treatment with MRTF-B LYR nanoparticles at both 50 nM and 100 nM siRNA; (C) MRTF-B protein silencing was calculated using densitometric analysis and GAPDH as loading control.
