From: Clonostachys rosea demethiolase STR3 controls the conversion of methionine into methanethiol

  1. Demethiolation activities with different substrates were determined in the standard enzyme assay system. Specific activity toward L-cystathionine was 22.04 ± 2.40 mM MTL·min−1·mg protein−1. The relative activity of demethiolation of L-cystathionine to thiol was set at 100%.
