(c) Variation of mixing times of pure NMP, water and NMP/water at a 1:1 ratio. Mixing times were measured by placing 1 mL of the solvent in the VFD operating at an inclination angle of 45° and varying the rotational speed (2000–9000 rpm) and measuring the time taken for a drop of dye to uniformally mix with the bulk liquid (measured in triplicates).
