  1. The optimal models of daytime and nighttime net calcification (Gnet) in each of the tide pools. During the night Ωarag is the only potential explanatory variable in the optimal model of each tide pool. However during the day Ωarag is found to offer no additional explanatory power in any of the tide pools. In each model all explanatory variables are significant at the p < 0.01 level.
