Oral administration of ICZ attenuates pulmonary cytokine/chemokine production in HRV-infected mice.

Mice were orally administered 20 mg/kg ICZ. Cytokine/chemokine levels were assessed in the supernatant of lung tissue homogenates from mice 8 h after HRV1B infection. (A) Relative HRV gene expression levels in the lung and (B–F) levels of CCL2, IL-1β, TNF-α, KC and IL-6 were measured.
